About the Band

Rascal Flatts, a country trio known for their musical succession, has been around since 1999. The band consists of Gary LeVox, Jay DeMarcus and Joe Don Rooney. Rascal Flatts has performed all over the world and has won and been nominated for many Grammy’s. They were greatly influenced by music making parents and family members. They began in Nashville playing country music in Nashville’s alley for small crowds. The part-time guitarist who worked with Gary LeVox and Jay DeMarcus couldn't’t make it one night, and Joe Don was asked to take his place. As they sang that night, the band Rascal Flatts was created.
